Additional Costs
Burial Fee
For an attended or unattended burial, the burial fee (interment fee) covers digging and closing a new grave, or reopening an existing one. For a new grave you will also need to pay for the plot; for an existing grave with a memorial, a removal/replacement fee may apply.

Cremation Fee
For an attended cremation funeral, the cremation fee is payable to the crematorium. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually also need to pay doctors' fees — the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
